The Hangout Safeguarding Policy

• Parents must be with their children for the duration of the Zoom call and children cannot use headphones.

• At least 2 leaders must present and they must join the call before the children are allowed to join.

• The host will enable a waiting room and set a password to control entry.

• The host will remove anyone who is sharing inappropriate content, anyone who is not accompanied by a parent or any unauthorised persons.

• The host will disable the chat and screen sharing for all participants.

• There will be no recording of the session.

• The host has the ability to block and/or mute participants.

• The host will use a CCL zoom account and children must access via a parent’s account.

• Only leaders with DBS checks will be permitted to join the session.

• Leaders must join the session from a suitable location.
